Charles Moser, Ph.D., M.D. received his Ph.D. from the Institute for Advanced Study in Human Sexuality; he is now a Professor of Sexology and Dean of Professional Studies there. He went on to earn his M.D. degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1991. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and am also a board-certified Sexologist. He maintains a private internal medicine practice in San Francisco, with a focus on sexual concerns and the medical problems of sexual minorities. He has served as the President of the Western Region of the Society of Scientific Study of Sexuality and is on the Editorial Board of San Francisco Medicine. He is in the process of forming the American College of Sexual Medicine and Health, an organization of physicians interested in the sexual aspects of medicine. He has published numerous academic papers on sexual topics, including nipple piercing, sadomasochism, safer sex, orgasm, and the effects of recreational drugs on sexual functioning. In addition, he is a frequent speaker and expert witness on alternative sexualities. |
